Origins: Chronological

This page documents many of the earnest efforts I have undertaken, alone and with others, to investigate the “origins” of SARS-CoV-2 and/or COVID-19, and the extent to which either “the virus” or “the disease” it purportedly causes can be considered novel or unique. Consistent with my training and academic background, my focus has been on straightforward questions that anyone can ask and think about. I’ve also looked closely at the stories told, the language used, and what hasn’t been said by scientists, doctors, officials, journalists, and others.

When writing about origins on Twitter from 2020 to 2022, I questioned government claims that SARS-CoV-2 was especially dangerous and believed it was already spreading in the United States by May 2019, if not earlier. I also spent time examining many scenes and episodes I later came to regard as inconsequential, misdirecting, and/or part of staging a pandemic event.

It was not until late 2022 or early 2023 that I began to see much of the official story — and many alternative stories — about a new coronavirus spreading from, or coming from, a single source as both false and intentionally misleading.
